JupaFit — Terms of Use
Last updated: 27 October 2026
1. The agreement
These terms are between you and Ramal İlyasov, an individual developer in Azerbaijan ("we", "us"), and they govern your use of the JupaFit app.
Using JupaFit means you accept them. If you do not, do not use the app — and if you have already paid, see §4 on refunds.
Questions: jupatxean@gmail.com.
Your subscription is also governed by the terms of the store you bought it from, Apple or Google. Where those terms and these disagree about the purchase itself, theirs govern — they took the money, not us.
2. Who can use JupaFit
You must be 14 or older. The app will not accept an age below 14, and if we learn that a younger child has an account we will delete it.
If you are under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission.
You need your own account. Do not share your sign-in with anyone else.
3. What JupaFit is, and what it is not
JupaFit builds training plans from what you tell us, estimates the nutrition of food, and lets you train alongside one other person you invite (Duo).
It is not medical advice
This matters more than anything else on this page.
JupaFit is not a doctor, a dietitian, or a physiotherapist, and nothing in it is medical advice. The calorie and protein targets are arithmetic from the height, weight, age and goal you typed in. The training plan is a programme, not a prescription. The meal scanner is an AI estimate.
- Talk to a doctor before starting if you have any medical condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, are recovering from injury or surgery, or take medication that affects appetite, weight, blood sugar or heart rate.
- Stop and get help if something hurts. Pain in a joint, chest pain, dizziness, or feeling faint are reasons to stop exercising and speak to a professional — not reasons to push through.
- If tracking food is making things worse, stop tracking. Calorie counting helps some people and harms others. If logging is making you anxious about eating, making you restrict, or taking up more of your day than it is giving back, the app is not helping you and you should talk to someone about it. That is a real thing that happens to real people using apps like this one, and no target on a screen is worth it.
The meal scanner is an estimate
The meal scanner reads one photograph. It cannot see what is under the surface, cannot weigh anything, and does not know what went into the cooking. Its numbers are estimates and some of them will be wrong — sometimes by a lot. Treat them as a rough guide, not a measurement, and correct them when you know better.
You are responsible for what you do with any of it.
4. Subscriptions
What is on sale
JupaFit is a paid app. A subscription unlocks it. There are two plans.
| Plan | Price | Works out at |
|---|---|---|
| Weekly | USD 4.99 per week | USD 260.37 a year |
| Annual | USD 44.99 per year | USD 0.86 a week |
The annual plan is the cheaper one by a wide margin, and the table says so plainly rather than leaving you to do the arithmetic. The per-week figure divides by 52.18 — the number of weeks in a year — not by 48.
Prices are shown in your own currency on the paywall before you buy, and that figure — not this table — is what you will be charged. Local prices are set by the store's conversion and may differ from a direct exchange of the amounts above.
The first-year offer
If you open the paywall, leave, and come back, you are shown the annual plan at USD 29.99 for the first year instead of the trial.
Two things about it, both of which matter:
- It is a first-year price, not a cheaper plan. After the first year it renews at the standard USD 44.99 a year. The paywall says so on the screen where you buy it.
- It replaces the free trial rather than adding to it. Apple and Google allow one introductory offer per account per subscription group, so you get the trial or the discount, not both.
The free trial
The annual plan carries a 3-day free trial for anyone who has not used a JupaFit introductory offer before. Its length and terms are shown on the paywall before you confirm, and the app tells you the date you will first be charged.
Two things worth knowing:
- A trial converts into a paid subscription automatically unless you cancel before it ends. That is how the stores implement it.
- Trials are once per person. Apple and Google allow one introductory offer per account per subscription group, so if you have had a JupaFit trial or first-year offer before, you will be charged immediately instead. The paywall will say so rather than offering you a trial you cannot have.
The weekly plan has no trial.
Renewal and cancellation
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You are charged within 24 hours of the period ending.
Cancel in your store account, not in JupaFit. We cannot cancel it for you — we never receive your payment details and have no ability to charge or stop charging your card.
- iPhone/iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions
- Android: Play Store → your profile → Payments and subscriptions
Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not end the period you have already paid for; you keep access until it runs out.
Deleting your JupaFit account does not cancel your subscription. They are separate systems. Cancel first, then delete.
Refunds
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google, under their policies, not by us. We cannot issue one, because we never received your money directly — the store did, and pays us later.
If you think you have been charged unfairly, ask the store first. Then write to us at the address in §1, because we would rather know.
Price changes
If a price changes, existing subscribers are told in advance by the store and asked to agree before the new price is charged. That is the store's mechanism, and we cannot bypass it.
5. Fair use of the AI features
The meal scanner costs real money per use, so it has a daily limit. The current limits are set generously enough that ordinary use never reaches them, and the app shows you what is left.
What the limits are actually there for:
- Do not automate the app. No scripts, no bots, no using JupaFit as a cheap route to a language model or an image model for something unrelated to your own training.
- Do not resell or redistribute what the app produces as if it were a service of your own.
- Do not try to get around the limits — multiple accounts for one person, modified clients, or intercepting the app's requests.
We may change the limits, and we may suspend an account that is doing any of the above. If we suspend a paying account unfairly, tell us and we will fix it.
Duo
Duo shares your workout posts with one person you invited, or who invited you. Nobody else sees them. Because what you send lands on someone else's phone, a few rules apply, and there is no tolerance for breaking them:
- No nudity or sexual content, nothing violent, hateful, threatening or harassing, and nothing illegal.
- Only photograph people who agreed to it. A gym is full of people who did not sign up for your Duo.
- The stake is between the two of you. JupaFit records what you agreed and who missed the week; it does not collect, hold or enforce anything. Keep stakes legal, safe and kind — a dinner, not a debt.
If your Duo sends you something that breaks these rules, report the post (the ••• on it → Report) and leave the Duo (Duo → Our week → Leave Duo): it stops instantly and they can no longer send you anything. We act on reports within 24 hours, and remove the content and the account that sent it where the rules were broken.
One sponsor's Premium covers both people in a Duo for the Duo's features. If the sponsor's subscription ends, the partner keeps their account and data but loses what the sponsor's Premium covered.
6. Your account and your content
What you put into JupaFit — your measurements, your food log, your Duo photos — stays yours. We do not claim ownership of it and we do not sell it. What we do with it is set out in the privacy policy, which is part of these terms.
You are responsible for keeping your account secure, and for everything done through it.
You can delete your account at any time in Profile → Delete account, which deletes it on our servers as well as on the phone. It is immediate and cannot be undone — and, as above, it does not cancel a subscription.
7. What we do not promise
JupaFit is provided as is. We work to keep it running and accurate, but we do not promise that:
- it will always be available, or free of bugs;
- its estimates, targets or plans are accurate for you specifically;
- it will produce any particular result. Nobody can promise that. What you get out depends on what you do, and most of that happens outside the app.
We may change features, add them, or remove them. If we remove something you are paying for, you can cancel; see §4.
We may stop offering JupaFit entirely. If that happens while you have time left on a subscription, we will say so with as much notice as we can.
8. Ending it
You can stop using JupaFit whenever you like, and delete your account from inside it.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks §5 (including the Duo rules), that is used to harm somebody, or that we are required by law to close. Where it is our decision rather than the law's, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.
9. Liability
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not permit to be limited. Your consumer rights in your own country are not affected by anything in this document.
Subject to that: to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for JupaFit in the twelve months before the claim.
You use the app's plans and estimates at your own risk. See §3.
10. Changes to these terms
If these terms change we will update the date at the top, and for anything that materially affects what you are paying for we will say so in the app rather than quietly editing the page.
Continuing to use JupaFit after a change means you accept it. If you do not, cancel and stop using the app.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Azerbaijan, and disputes belong to its courts — except where the law of the country you live in gives you the right to bring a claim where you are, which it may, and which we do not seek to take away.
